We will explore how to work around the system so that you are familiar with the testing format. In module one, we will look at how to complete practice exams and how to better understand the answers and explanations for each question. Review of the Five Test Sections Navigating the GED Testing System Succeeding on the GED Test Prepare for the Language Arts, Writing Test, Parts I and II Practice tests, Answers and Explanations GED Test Preparation Module 2 Getting Ready for the Social Studies and Science Test In module two, we will be examining the Social Studies and Science tests. After looking at the format and topics, we will look at the study tips and strategies for understanding the content and question type. Looking at the Skills the Social Studies and Science Test Covers Preparation Strategies Helpful Pointers Understanding the Test Format Practice Tests, Answers and Explanations GED Test Preparation Module 3 Encountering the Language Arts, Reading Test After learning more about the test format, we will look at the skills that are covered in the reading portion of the GED test. Module three will also review literary and non-fiction passages. Also covered in module three are tips on how to manage your time while taking your exam. Understanding the Test Format Looking at the Skills the Reading Test covers Literary and Nonfiction Passages Managing Your Time Practice Tests, Answers and Explanations GED Test Preparation Module 4 The Mathematics Test, Parts I and II In module four, we will examine preparation strategies for understanding the math test better. We will look at number operations and number sense, as well as geometry, statistics and algebraic functions. After practicing for your math exam, our course will provide you with skills to be more successful, overall, on your GED test, as well as what to do upon passing.
